Introduction
Creating a TUI book and making it active is a four-step process
This 4-video set is the foundation of the Partners Program training package. This video tutorial package is comprised of:

In all cases, you may want to use the pause button in the video player to stop, rewind, fast-forward, and to pause and read. You may need to install the free QuickTime download.
- The first step is laying out the pages (front-end) using our MS Word template and the TUI library. That is the focus of this tutorial. Upon your subscription you will be provided with the template that has the accurate coordinate structures that ensure alignment with the underlying touch sensitive substrate.
- The second step is activating the pathways to the digital (back-end) content from a layout template using the BookDesigner. This will result in the creation of a mapping database that links content to defined regions upon the printed page.
- The third step is to load the book's newly created mapping database into the TUI client application and to establish a connection to the book within the TUI platform.
