eTouchBook™ Client Application Demo
How to Use the TUI Technology Simulation Demo
You are about to experience a new way of using paper. Somatic Digital has developed a Touch User Interface (TUI) technology that allows normally printed paper to connect to digital content. Because we want everyone to be able to experience this new "media rich" paper, we have developed an online demo to literally show you what we are talking about!
The demo consists of pages that are the representative of actual printed pages operating with Somatic Digital's technology platform, the eTouchBook™.
On the pages are icons - drawings depicting the type of digital content or response experienced when they are touched. The demo simulates what would be happening if you actually touched the printed page - the digital content displays just like it would do with the printed pages. If you had the printed pages in front of you, you would see the same icons and would touch the pages with your finger to connect to the content. Since you are using the online demo, however, you will use your cursor to simulate touching. So whenever during the demo you do something with the cursor, just imagine using your finger!
